I can't understand what you are looking at. Bearing on the side of the pig would be a carrier bearing, and those don't get pulled on a yota. Just loosen the bolts on top and back out the retainer

read this site over

if you are trying to change carrier bearings what is easiest is to remove the bearing cage and roller bearings to access the bearing race(the cage can be cut with a nice set of side cutters) then carefully use a cut off wheel to grind at an angle across the surface of the race and get a good groove into it without hitting the housing then take a chisel and a hammer and strike in the groove you made which will crack the race in the groove and then will slide right off. wear eye protection and use a rag of sorts to cover the carrier while your doing this just to keep any crud out.

well the reason for taken off the bearings cus I was goign to reuse them on the detoit locker that I was installing, but after I looked it closer i found that th detroit i bought was for a 61b V6 detroit and the bearing are larger I.D. than the 4cyc pig bearings so i can not use them.
I went to different auto stores adn they are pretty much useless to find the right part..
I emailed a few sites and found that Trail gear has what I need to put the v6 detroit in the 4 cyc pig (abr Locker bearings). I order the new bearings and will get next week, not find a some one to press them on when i get them...

hope to get this axle back under the sami before Harlin ride in 4 weeks..
