Limit straps?

Im needing to measure up for limiting straps on the buggy and havent been able to find how much they actually stretch if at all? I want to set them up approximately 1"-1.5" from full extension?

I'm not a big fan of the chain method. On a side note I rebuilt my shock that I tore up and will be measuring for limit straps today after work.

I use SS cable from lows… doesn’t seem to have stretched. I plan to change to web eventually but only if the cable gives me a reason. I like the bling but only if there is a need.
