Rubicon lockers
I bought a 2003 Rubicon last night and I have a question about the lockers, are they air lockers? I dont hear an air pump run when I engage them, just curious.

I thought the early ones were air, and they switched to electric at some point. I know the newer ones are electric.

Yes, the early ones are air.
Yes, they switched to electric at some point, maybe 06-07 with the TJ-JK transition? A quick google says you may not be able to hear the pump from inside the jeep.
