Great weekend and weather was nice. Very dry and dusty! They have done maintenance on some of the obstacles making them Mall Crawl worthy now. Disappointing for sure but maybe thru traffice they will be back. Jeff & Chrissie, Zach & Brittany and Kevin arrived Thursday. on that night run the waterfall, Rail Bed, Fish Tail and killin time we accomplished. Friday mrning rolled out about 1030 and drove lower profanity (I say drove because they have leveled the upper section). We then hit Valve Stem. Tough trail and Zach ended up breaking the caps on the passenger dana 60 axle. Luckily the caps stayed in the ears. Back to camp to change that and eat some lunch. We then went out to Lower Rock Garden and Crawfords cry. Crawfords now has a huge rock in the middle of the side rock area making you go on the right line up the wall. Your Turn was up next. made all the way to the exit but iti s still closed. Back to camp to eat and wait for some Peeps to show up. Back to camp and waited for Lester, Mike, Mark and Jim to show up. Settled , Jeff, Zach, Kevin and Lester hit Whitetail with no issues. Flying thru the trail at 35+ was interesting. Saturday we hit the waterfall where Zach took out the Passenger axle (again) with the cheap Autozone joint used the previous day. Zach and Jeff back to camp to change and the rest went up railbed where Kevin broke a front driveshaft weld. Group back to camp to repair and eat lunch. Went to killin time, lower rock garden and headed to Mason Jar. Learned a new line for Mason Jar. Off to Lions Den when Jeff went first. not knowing did the hard exit out of the Den this time. Zach was next (First Time thru) and picked some perfect lines making his way thru with little isues. Kevin made some cool noises with the exo-cage but little effort. Mark was having issues with the performance of his buggy and drove thru it quite fast with little issues. Steel hill was hit on the way back to camp for dinner. Bellys full and night run upon us. We went shameless, and grapevine. Then cut across the entire mountain area crossing the playground at Putney to go up Whitetail again and end up at Helicopter pad. Back to camp for some refreshments and memories. Drove home Sunday.
