Looks like we will be showing up Sunday only. We plan on being there when the park opens. We would like to roll with someone that knows the park cause we've never been there. Was wondering if we were going to wheel in groups or just take off. It will probably be 9:30 by the time we register and get unloaded. The GPS map would be nice. Does it work with a Garmin Nuvi?

Few things:
1. How many people are planning on running both days? I will have some stickers for those that are... 2. If you'll give me your name and/or names of passengers, I can create a list for Haspin. Mention you're with CORE, they check the list, if you're on it; you'll get $2 off per person entry. 3. For those camping at Big Rock, would anyone be interested in a night run? Wondering if there is interest before we throw details together.

Can't bring myself to tear down my front axle to replace a birfield and then tear down again in a week or so when i am ready to put my 4.88's in...
So on that note, i won't be able to make this trail ride.:( I was really looking forward to it... i love camping in the fall.. Chris

I will riding both days, hopefully Robert gets his XJ together and he goes. I think it is going to be more like winter camping than fall camping this Saturday night!

I will be there both days but gonna make a detour to my own warm bed after Haspin, gotta pass here on the way there. Is this what it's like to get old. Is 8am on Saturday and shortly before 9 on Sunday still set in stone.

The front leaf spring bolt stripped out inside the welded nut (of course) so I've got the hole cut in the floor to get at it, still haven't got it out yet. And my tires are still on order at sams... No rubber and I'm dead in the water. We'll see. Robert

The concensus of the crowd last night (and wow was there a crowd last night), was to start both days at 9am. So we'll plan on landing at Haspin around 9am Sat. We have a group of 3 nutcases who are camping overnight Friday there and hopefully will have the CORE banner visible on something by that time. We can then see how many we have to determine how many groups, etc.
Call the park office at Big Rock for electric spots. For those coming down to Big Rock on Sunday, plan on being there around 9am. (Friendly warning that the speed limit on AA in KY is 55mph, not 56mph or 57mph. Cops have been known to watch that section closely.) We'll see how many and determine groups, yada, at that time. What am I missing? Questions ?

I assume there is a burn ban for the area, so no campfires. (Assuming someone will correct me if I'm wrong)
While there is...more to come on this possibility Nevermind
