Sounds like Cameron made one hill that no one else had and broke a rcv on the second hill. Wish I could have made it down.

Just thought I'd quote this since that local park still has it's 15 hundo and TC's got a broken RCV.

It was a great show today. That Showtime buggy has amazing fabrication, a mean motor, and get's it done, but that's second only to TC's driving, and his humility. Talk about a stand up guy! Not once did he brag, show arrogance, or pride. The dude likes to 4wheel, and does it well.

If you missed it today, stay tuned because he's wanting to come back to DTOR and try it again.

That was one weak hill. (the one he conquered) I wonder if he will ever come back. Hopefully the other 2 climbs were longer and more challenging.

Weak hill...? If timmy is coming back I'd believe he thinks they aren't that easy. Most of the climbs I've seen him do on YouTube are relatively mundane for the biggest part of the run (all things being relative here) and one section that is a booger. A water fall, a ridge, a cut, or something that challenges wheelbase, grip, width, or something that every buggy cannot compensate for. Its rare (for me) to see a climb with multiple hard-fought obstacles throughout the run. So...these are short with no build up to the PITB section and essentially nothing after the PITB section. If they were indeed 'weak' then any number of buggies could have done it by now because not everyone that's tried them have been folks with a rig but no skills or someone with skills, but not the rig to match.

this one could probably be filed under the discrimination I hear about the local ORV parks in general - 'not enough rock' or 'too much dirt and mud'. My boys have had me watch virtually every TC YouTube video and the majority of 'awesome' runs were not on clean rocks with no dirt or mud and most are not 100yd rough-as-a-cob climbs. Most of the waterfall section vids are about the same size as the DTOR obstacles. I'm an armchair wannabe though so my opinion isn't worth .02.

Guess I am just thinking of the long ones where 8-10 rolls would be a minimum if things went wrong. Not one or two roll-overs. Guess he must have enjoyed them as it sounds he is coming back and the next time I will be there. May inspire me to build a full blown buggy.

Those climbs where the witch obstacle is at the top and toppling off it will likely send you end-over-end a few times tends to break a LOT of stuff and has the potential to cause some serious trauma to the driver. Looks cool, but a few of those and the old spine might not let the operator keep wheeling. That's for youngin's (like we used to be) that don't know any better and can take a bangin' and still get up and walk the next day.

The 1 hill/creekbank that he climbed, I only posted a video of him making it. I have 15-20min. or more video of him not making it. With that being said it wasnt as easy as it looks on the video. It took him 20 or 30 tries to make it.

busted knuckle films found my videos on youtube today and sent me a email wanting to edit my videos and use them in their dvds and on their webpage.
They said they would give me full credit for what ever they use and offered me a free dvd. I think I am going to try to get a hoodie or a shirt out of it to.:)

A long climb doesn't mean its harder, just more dangerous. And a full blown buggy sounds like a good idea to me

That rocks. They make some good videos.

He definitely epitomizes the 'Southern Wheeling' creedo of if it doesn't make it 'hit the throttle harder'. That said, he has good sense of orientation and generally seems to wheel safe and smart (for the rigs he has). He seems to be able to get himself out of trouble more times than most, but ending up on your lid appears to be just part of the job. That rig is just plain nuts in its execution, quality, and over-the-top packaging. 180deg headers...!!!! Lots of spit and polish on that thing too. Wonder if that is a trend we're going to be seeing more of with buggies. I'd prefer a move to rigs that resemble some make or model, even if its' done with tube and plate. Nostalgia F/C has more of a rabid and dedicated following that TF F/C because fans identify with the looks of the car and don't identify with some sillouette thingy.

Imagine TC driving a monster truck in freestyle competitions...? It might work better if they replace the cars with boulders though.
