verda field is in the city of everts, it was w/o hookups? george can explain I guess but it will hold about 350 busses, and 3 or 400 trucks with trailers should be big enuf. motels and resturants are in Harlan which is a few miles away .................................. I really feel you guys need to George to be trail leader so he can show you the correct way to 4 wheel as far as myself and mudholes...well i may wind up being rolled in it but i may take a few with me...lol

There's plenty of room in the Verda field, it will have port-o-johns and water but the power hook ups will probably be taken by the vendors.

sounds like a good time to me... If i'm mobile, I'm in.
GRB, will you be camping there in the Verda field, or do you live down there? I would for sure like to have a guide around the place.

I will guide you Carwash ;)
Damn, I guess now I am going to the rush hour for a day mess too. I will be pissed if I am unable to get on a trail and the dynamite will be coming out and something is gonna blow! What time are you going to be picking me up Carwash? You can put the rail in my trailer and the truggy will have a companion for the ride down and back then |

I truly am hoping we can run with a few that have been there a bunch... from what i hear, this may be my new stomping grounds.

we'll be down there, last year they had a poker run and some other stuff, at night they had a dj and stuff up in the park. it was a pretty good time. we rode on our own all weekend, just went to the party at night for a little bit. we really didn't see anyone all weeekend on the trails down there last year, and they had a pretty good turn out i guess.

I'll be at the Verda field some but I'm camping at the CG behind the Dairy Hut. No fee to ride, just a camping fee ($5). There will be several guides available.

They are a few good steep hill climbs right off of the Bailey creek trail head that would be killer in a buggy. Hey George has anyone climbed cream puff or lower D. in a rail buggy that you know of.? |

i have been told by many that i need to give cream puff a try, that no one in a rail has done it, and they say it can't be done... so I will for sure try.
I would love it if you and Rob could lead us around tinbeater... thanks for the offer. I talked to rob today, he says he is going to try to get out of town on friday morning... hopefully we can do that, if not, we will roll in friday evening. is it quad friendly as well?

Upper Damnation and Pony Hill are two more that have never been done in a rail. |

Mike , from the one time I was there your rail will climb anything at Harlan. The big factor will be how much risk your willing to take;)

I will try anything that i think won't kill me... I don't want to cartwheel it off the side of a mountain tho...
I look forward to doing some stuff that hasn't been done in a rail... i will be famous...
