I love mine. Use it more than I do my Jeep anymore. Just a lot more places to ride them sadly.

Are there enough to start a "Places to ride a side-by-side" thread? Might be nice here in the new subforum... Robert

Ohio, maybe not so many but down here in KY there is a good selection of pay to play parks. Even more in Tenn.

Ohio has several state ATV parks but the maximum width is 50". Think this is common in other states also and why most manufacturers offer SxS models right at that width.
I would love to have a SxS but not ready to give up my fullsize trail rig yet and can't afford both. It would be a heck of a lot easier for storage and hauling around. |

Then we definitely need a SXS Trail List thread!

I know that people on the wildcat forum go there and wildcats are wider than 50

I would be willing to guess that they are not measuring every vehicle that goes through. If you are obviously over you will get stopped but if you are close you should not have a problem.

They dont measure anything...they build bridges at 51" wide and if can't fit you can't ride..

That is pretty much what I did. Picked up a 18.5' enclosed trailer and finished out as a toy hauler camper. Fridge, stove, sink, ****ter, 4 beds, and TV. Keep the RZR in the back, show up at Windrock or Brimstone unload and go ride. Hope to catch you guys on the trail. However keep one thing in mind, these are no cheaper than Jeeps. As far as width restrictions, those are usually only on state and federal trails. |

The XP1K is 70" wide. It will fit in the 50" areas if you go really quickly. There is talk about extending the width of the state trails to keep up with the new machines.

They also usually have gates at the trailhead that wide also. I'm sure the original intent was so only ATVs could use the trails, which was before the explosion in the SxS market.
