As we wrap up our 2010 4x4s For A Cause event in support of One Way Farm Children’s Home, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who got involved. Helping with set up of the event, volunteering at the event, attending the event, or talking about the event…THANK YOU! Without your support this would not have been a success. Success is measured in many ways. We met new friends, got reacquainted with some we’d not seen, and made some memories. While all valuable, we were gathered to support One Way Farm so how did we measure up?
We had 52 rigs register! We had many cash donations the day of the event and awesome support of our raffle, split the pot, and grand prize/winch tickets. The winner of the Winch was a very happy Corey Kessell Jr. Thanks to all of you, we will be presenting on behalf of everyone, a check to One Way Farm Children’s Home in the amount of $1,565!!!! This is an awesome achievement and possible only because each of you pitched in and helped out. Thank you, thank you, a thousand times over, thank you!!!
As we look to the future, we have already had discussions around next year’s event. We have set our date for Saturday August 13th, 2011, at Barn n Bunk Farm Market. More events, more friends, more prizes, more rigs, more memories, more fun!!! Stay tuned to see what develops for next year.
