  • Jeegy upgrades!

Well I have been convinced after Harlan and watching Others, cough, cough, all weekend that I need more HP and a smoother shifting experience in the woods. Hence I bought a 6.0 LS LQ4 tonight with 91,000 on it. I also last weekend bought a TH400

So far I have ordered this for the upgrades:

    Transmission cooler
    Derale 15800 Electra-Cool... [ame="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CN6TPU?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf"]Amazon.com: Derale 15800 Electra-Cool Remote Cooler: Automotive[/ame]

    Tranny rebuild
    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F171338232536

    Seat belts
Driver Restraints 3 in. Complete Set 3 in. Cam Lock Wrap Around Black Pull Up Straps [ame="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006HKL4W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6B-XBbV3ZCKCE"]Amazon.com: Driver Restraints 3 in. Complete Set 3 in. Cam Lock Wrap Around Black Pull Up Straps: Automotive[/ame]

    Atlas 32 spline input kit

Advance adapters Th400 to Atlas transfer case

Need these items that I can think of

    Torque converter

Power steering pump bracket for my Howe pump

    Bracket for my York compressor
    License for ECM

    FUEL PUMP

    FUEL FILTER

    Radiator lines and what not

    Winters shifter

    Throttle cable

    Exhaust

If anyone has information on the items left to get or can think of anything else I might need add it to this thread

You can always relocate the packs and get longer plug wires. Are they all in the way or just a couple?

I mentioned flipping the coils backwards (if that's possibly) and getting a longer set of wires. Lester also came up with a good idea on Facebook. I guess Jegs sells this rack where you can mount and hang them in any location you need.

Just one. I am going to stand it up right and make little tabs for it.

Got the water pump tapped for the thermostat and steam port done. Needed a 3/8 and 1/2 pipe die (harbor Freight $11.89)

Got the shroud cut out for the Volvo fan as well

Ken Garcia did the aluminum welding for me. Doing AN 16 fitting and stainless steel lines

Looking good. I have 1/4-3/4 npt taps and 1/2 - 1 1/4 dies if you ever need them.

I also got a sweet bearing set driver if you need to borrow it as well. It has some small drivers in it that we needed for the TH400

Zach’s kit will be here this week. I bought everything g we need to do it and a kick ass book for it as well. Has color pictures and shows how to mod them as well
