I've kept track of the maintenance done on the Express vans at work since 2008. I have used several brand rotors and pads and have finally found a combo that is up there with OE.
The vehicles are a 2007 and 2013 Express van. Both driven by me, with a mix of city and highway, and towing 7500 lb trailer 6 times a year.
2007 Van
Napa rears- 14,00 with new Savage rotors.
Wagner rears - 17,500 with turned Savage Rotors --- 30,000 with new Bosch rotors
AC Delco rears - 13,500 with turned Bosch rotors
Wearever front - Pad and rotor - Currently on van
Wearever rear - Pad and rotor - Currently on van
2013 Van
OE - 23,000 on fronts, pads glazed and rotors became warped --- 71,000 on rears
EBC yellow fronts - 19,000 with new Bosch rotors. They wore the rotors out. Brake dust was terrible.
Hawk LTS pads - Fronts with new Bosch rotors, currently on van with 47,600 --- Rears with new Bosch rotors, currently with van at 19,000
From my experience, the Bosch rotors perform very well with any pad. The Hawk LT pads out perform any pad I have ever used. Match the Bosch rotors and the Hawk pads for a long lasting set of great stopping pads.
If you have any combos you have gotten good mileage out of, post them up.
