Hoping to get there by Thursday evening and get set up for wheeling friday morning. It depends on the other two in the group. May not leave till Friday am. We will stay till Monday. We're trying like hell to get Tool Mans rig done for the trip.
You can barely tell it's a Bronco anymore.

Kevin what time were thinking of leaving on Thursday?

added thursday to my request tonight... If we are really going down on thursday we should try and leave earlier in the day so we are not setting up camp in the dark...

If we leave around 3pm, we should have a few hours to set up camp before it's dark.

Should have the rear suspension on Tim's rig finished this week. Then the cage is all that's left.

Sounds good. That should give us plenty of time to setup camp before dark.

Most of us stay in the camping area straight ahead of the Guard shack in Evarts.

As long as we don't camp on the gravel again... I think we should camp acroos the creek from where we did last year, over by where Jwend was... I think Tim's rig will make it around there if it is not all wet...

It's always muddy over there. We will see. I'm all for the gravel, but I am sleeping in a trailer. Just pitch your tent on Tim's trailer.

I'll just be better prepared, it really wasn't that bad... If put my tent on Tim's trailer it would be very likely i could fall on my arse crawling out in the middle of the night to go to the potty ... I am also hoping to have a bigger tent this time, something i can stand up in ...

I'm not familiar with the Evarts side.Wondering if the area is large enough to fit a large group.Any showers over there?

The only thing I didn't like about Putney was the drive through the mountain to get to all the good stuff. It rained and made it hell to get to the Evarts side. Not mention if you broke something. You would never get it back.

There are showers at the campground in town. http://www.evartskentucky.com/north_...ampground.html
Portable crappers are placed around where we camp. I read somewhere there were free shower houses in Evarts somewhere.

I have a 10x14 condo tent that was used once. It's easy up and huge. I sleep in the trailer, so I don't really need it.

We stay on the mountain, so it's just us and nature. A shower would be nice though...
