Does anyone know if there are exhaust restrictions at the Badlands? Like no open headers... Mark is planning on bringing his new buggy and I wondered if there was. It's kinda LOUD...

I plan on being there Friday morning with the SXS.

      Who else is going?

I talked to a guy on hardline about this. He says they go all the time with an open headered bouncer and have no problems, BUT somebody he goes with "knows somebody" so that might not apply to everyone.

Never heard of any exhaust restrictions...basically they check for no alcohol and that you gat a flag. That is it that I have seen in years of going there.

Nothing in the rules about exhaust:

All SUV/4x4’s must be insured. We suggest you abide by what YOUR State law is regarding ATV registration. We are not a law enforcement agency.

All SUV/4x4 ‘s must have at least one tow point (example: tow hook or receiver hitch). Front and rear tow points are mandatory for the harder trails along with a winch and locker.

All SUV’s must have the following: proper roll-over protection (i.e. roll bar, roof) to include the passengers, battery tie down (no bungee cords), seatbelts for everyone in the vehicle, tow point(s), trash bag for liquid spills, flag and wristbands.

I plan on being there, Provided nothing on the rig is broke too badly from wheeling over the 4th. I should have about 4 other rigs with me.

Friday the weather was great, Saturday sucked. Rained from 8am to 2pm. Got to do the night run Friday, but nada on the mission impossible Saturday. The rain screwed things up. Had fun seeing what the Rzr could do. The dunes were a blast. The best part was I didn't break anything, and it cost me 1/3 of what it would've been if I had taken my rig.

What the stickies did to the front axle shaft. RCV's replacing them.
