Great time at Harlan this weekend,
My son and his friends put together a trip that will always be remembered ...(if the Large amount of moonshine didn't remove it)
We all arrived Friday Morning around 10am, Mark later joined us around 3pm, We proceeded to Pinball which seems to be a bit of a challenge now for a rig only locked in the rear, on to Rail bed which changes everytime you go, very interesting wheeling was shown by Nathan and Kyle on this trail..."Have videos and pics".
We went into Fish Fossil which went well until Wes in his CJ had a rear axle break on a tricky part of the trail. Wes was able to drive it out unassisted back to camp and drove into the trailer which ended his rig for the trip.
We left for Mason Jar Saturday morning only to find out the bypass not to far into Mason jar is now more difficult than the original obstacle people we trying to drive around. With only Mark and I locked front and rear we decided to head to Lions Den. The Den was fairly dry and we got through pretty quick. The rest of the day was interesting watching some XJ's from our group believing that nothing could stop them, this resulted in a alot of broken parts the worst being a front differential at the end of Rail bed...Good video of this" Ricky in his 4runner had fan to Radiator clearance issue which ended his run on grape Vine. Will post plenty of pics soon, im still editing Nd going through pics.
