shift motor

i have the old vacuum set up i was going to change it to posi-lock but where the cable goes in there is a senor can i pull that senor out and run the cable through that or do i need a new shift motor ?

The posi-loc replaces the vaccum motor on the axle. You dont have to get a new one because it comes with the posi-loc.

Are you locked in the front? I assume you're talking about a D30 axle, probably on an XJ or YJ. If you're not locked, do it this way & you wont have to mess with it again.
