yj guys HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok here it goes 94 4.0ho 5 speed
starts acting up and not wanting to start and no gas to the fuel rail and wait a bit and it would be find so out comes the tank and fuel pump in goes the new. along with filter and full tune up. but still doing the same exact thing and in the moring you can forget it untill it warms up and then the check eng light will come on and the pump will kick in and it will fire right up. once it does that its fine and will run all day. its just when yopu first turn the key on you have to wait on the check light to come on once it goes out it starts right up i coded it and it gave me a MAT code so i got one coming from advanced today but if thats not it someone please point me some where i have missed afew days of work cuz of it
and she is pissed to since her jeep aint running

sounds like the computer or a relay under the hood for the fuel or the safety shut down system.

Check for an asd relay. It stands for automatic shutdown relay. I hate wiring! :mad:

well just replaced the MAT and still doing it so looks like ill order the auto shut down relay today and try that too

Their should be another relay in the fuse panel that is identical that you can use to diagnose. You can also use a volt meter and check it. I had a similar problem and ended up having to have the truggy wired from scratch and paid 2000.00 for it. :o Always disconnect the battery before welding on a vehicle.
