Trailkeepers/Pride Cleanup April 25th- Volunteers needed
The TrailKeepers Foundation, a non profit organization founded in 2000, (made up mostly of OHV riders and is dedicated to creating and preserving multi-use recreational trails on public and private land) will be hosting a spring clean up on April 25, 2009 from 9am-3pm in conjuction with Pride (A program that promotes Personal Responsibility In a Desireable Environment in 38 counties in Southern and Eastern, Kentucky.)
Our target area is a tract of land (In Whitley County, Kentucky , near Williamsburg) that leads to the Cumberland River and is known to the locals as the “longbottoms.” Volunteers are need to make this clean up a success. Come spend the day with other OHV riders and learn about the trails in your area and what you can do to help keep them open.
