Tacking Expanded Metal
Does expanded metal need to be welded at every point???? I have never worked with it too much so I don't know how it holds welds. I welded a couple of rows across the front and down the sides of my first section. What would you do???

I always make sure to weld the very edges so they won't snag anything and get ripped up

Welding Expanded Metal
Looks good to me. Don't want to tack it too much b/c it's easy to mess up and then becomes a real pain to remove and replace.

X2 on welding the ends. 1 row on top of all supports only.

I did get all the ends, but I'll do a little less welding in between on the rest of the floor. Thanks.

I believe this is to be a trailer so he can trailer his ranger or rhino or whatever he has.
