Lug nuts shooting off!

I used to work at Beechmont Toyota and one of the service writers would bring in his Dodge Durango with broken rear wheel studs all the time. He told me "any good Dodge owner carries extra wheel studs with him at all times" and that Dodges are known to break wheel studs. I personally replaced 2 on 2 separate occasions. So, maybe its a Dodge thing?

I have owned 10+ dodge trucks in the past 6 years and this is the first time I have had a problem.

Worked for a dodge dealer for 23 years, thats news to me.

Whats the torque specs for an 06 2500 with aluminum or steel rims? Any idea.

Planning on fixing these broken studs before I leave tonight on a 3 hour tour and torque them to 100 ft. lbs.. I will check on my insurance and medical coverage before I go though. :o

Got em at 120 now :)
