welding

can someone check out a welder I bought at the flea market
and maybe give me a quick welding lessen let me know what I can and can't do with it
I can bring it to you or you can come here

I know nothing about welding but it's a 110v craftsman wire fed welder

I was able to get two peices of metal to hold together so it works a little anyway

Does it have reference chart for thick. Should have amp/wirefeed this is a good start. biggest thing is to clean the metal extremly good for a good clean weld.I am guessing it is flux core wire so make sure you have the right wire.

check the torch for wear and replace tips as needed this will also cause welding problems and keep the torch in straight as possible position for the weld this to will cause weld problems.

have fun, practice alought and stay safe.
