Hell no I don't blame him!.... he now has everything at his fingertips..first pick of every high-school stud player..bottomless resources...and god status if he wins!

I heard the sticking point was the lowering of academic standards to " help make them competitive" ... that's bull****... ND has no problem getting any kid in the country they want...they just haven't wanted the right people in the last 15 years.

If ND isn't in the top 5 every year they've underachieved...

Yep! He's a fool. It's not 1973 in ND glory days and NOT many high school recruits are making thier way to ND. Ask Charlie Wies how good a job ND was. Kelly with a spread offense with big passing game is not what ND likes at all.

For a guy how gave Rick Minter crap for leaving prior to his teams bowl game he is sure showing his colors!! If that's the kinda guy he is ND can have him.

Should have at least waited to announce after your bowl game. I heard it was a dream of his to coach at ND so I can't blame him. But ND fans are hungry and probably will want results fast so he could be walking into a mess especially when your 2 best players opt their senior year for the NFL draft.

Yet another Big East coach thinking the grass is greener at an old powerhouse school. Can you say Rich Rodriguez?

He has to start at ND now, once he signs on he can no longer be affiliated with UC at all. Schools do this because the recuits can start signing letters of intent now that the season is over.
