kx125 not running

Ive got a kx125 and it wont run.
I cant get the damn thing to start unless if i pour gas directly through the air box into the carb. And when it starts up after doin that it runs full throttle until i hit the throttle and it bogs down. It is gettin fuel out of the petcock also so i know it isnt a problem with that. And i also put a new spark plug in it yeaterday.
Any ideas? Its drivin me insane.

first thing I would do is take carb off n clean it...also check to make sure reeds aren't cracked.also sounds like you might be suckin air at the intake...

Air leak , ether cracked intake boot..non-sealing reed valves or bad crank seal.

Whats the plug look like ?

do not do anything that drastic as it is probably just as simple as a thourough carb cleaning and rebuild.
