toyota alternator

does anyone know how to convert a toyota alternator to a one wire setup for a buggy. Im to cheap to put a chevy on it right now

Just did this to mine.

Cut and put ring terminals on all the wires coming out of the plug from the alternator. Just put them on the stud with 12v hot. Since you have a buggy you won't have a problem with all the idiot lights.
