Ranger offroad racer/tough truck

First thing is first. Asking 1750 OBO or trade for a 4x4 atv 300cc or bigger WITH title (or atleast, able to get a title for). But I would prefer the cash

This truck is for OFFROAD use only. it has no title, no lights, no windows and no heat. It is purpose built for short course offroad racing. Better known as tough tuck or rough truck races.

I built this truck winter 2010/2011 from the ground up. Everything on it I fabricated myself, some parts have been made to fit with a sawzall, grinder and a welder. It is not a professional 20k truck and some things may not be done the way a professional would, but it isnt some hillbilly hack job built by someone that was drunk one night.

Frame/axles/cab are 1985 4x4 ford ranger. It has the stock dana 28 with 3:73 gears and the stock 7.5 with 3:73 gears. Carriers are still open. suspension is still all stock. The cab is completely gutted and fully caged. Nose is cut and bobbed, it has no bed sides. Interior is enclosed just like a stock car would be. Has 4 point harness, with Bronco II seat with lumbar support. Seat is bolted to the cage as is the harness. Has removable steering wheel.

Engine is from an 88 ranger. It is the 2.3 efi motor. Engine was rebuilt 5 or 6 years ago and has been inside of a tough truck ever since. The motor runs GREAT and very strong. all unneeded wiring ha sbene eliminated, but it can still be hooke dup to a ford scanner and have the codes read. EGR code will come up becuase it is removed. o2 sensor, ect is all still there.

Radiator is mounted inside the cab behind the enclosed area out of harms way. Truck has never ran above 180 degrees with this setup. Transmission is a manual 5speed 2wd transmission from an 86 ranger. Clutch, bearing, pressure plate, slave and master cylinders were repalced when trans was put in in december 2010. Transfercase is from an 84 Nissan 720 pickup. It is a divorced style case so it has a short drive shaft between the transmission and the tcase. Transfercase is mounted with 4 solid mounting points. Rear drivesahft has 2 loops to keep it from falling out if it breaks.
Both fuel pumps and fuel filters were repalced at the beginning of the season. OEM fuel tank is mounted inside of the rear mounted toolbox. It also has a 1/4" plate under the tool box and a big 1/2" angle iron rear bumper to make it a tad tail heavy for landings. Has a full tnak of fuel currently.
Has 31-10.50-15 Truxxas MT tires withs about half tread.

Truck was a top 10 finisher for the 2011 season. Had several top 5 finishes, and took first in the county class at the local fair. If you know how to drive it will win you money. I brought home nearly $1000 in winnings this year.

this truck could me easily made into a fairly capable trailrig/ mud bogger/ rock crawler aswell. If it wasnt for the room for a 2nd person I would make some changes and trail ride it.

Truck is located near Fultonham OH.
