Still not sure about camping, depends on how Sat. goes but since my wife wont be in town, I don't have to feel bad about camping without her.

Nick, if I don't camp, I'll call ya about running out there together.

I plan on arriving by 10:00am hitting the trails by 10:30am.We'll meet in the front parking lot. After you enter the gate,100 or so yards to the left ,after the small tree with a few bushes around it.My cell number is available by PM.

Gary, just let me know sometime today if you wanna convoy.

Of course I have no photographic proof that I made it up Devil's Back Bone twice..... but there were plenty of witnesses. Especially the guy from ZZ Top that was riding a Honda dirt bike

Man ,what great pics... I had a great time.Good to see Red Dog back out on the trail. Two wide asz XJ's in the same group.Well ,that's a bonus....Thanks for coming out Andy.Nice job on the rig..It was nice meeting your dad and brother.Good People.

Gary, your number two of the only rigs, I've seen climb the backbone with opened axles.

The carnage of the day.I popped a windshield.....The seal.It did'nt break it yet..

The only thing still holding it in ,was the bond at the top.

Rest of the pics here..

Looks like if Glass Masters can get the windshield out and rebond it ,the cost is 100.00.To replace the windshield 180.00.

Anyone have any experience with glued in windshields?
Nick

I had to replace the sliding rear window in my truck. It was glued in just like a windshield. It cost $25 for the glue from Advance auto. If it will come the rest of the way out easily, then you could give it a shot.

Not a bad idea..If,I can get the top to break loose without breaking the glass.Napa sells a 3M product named Window Weld for 21.99.
