yeah, if you're thinking about a Jeep (instead of a Toyota or whatever) then put an XJ at the top of your list. You can buy them dirt cheap, lift them cheap & throw some used MTs on it and have a reliable wheeler for rock bottom prices. There's TONS of aftermarket accessories (complete catalogs available from Quadratec, 4wd, etc) for them, every junkyard has tons of parts if yours break also!

If you have XJ questions, send me a PM cause I've fixed everything on one just about & have built up many of them too.

A stock can be expeccted to get 16-20 mpg (mine have always done well at least) but once you mod them & start running 31-33s (I wouldn't recommend bigger on stock axles) you should expect 11-15 mpg.

hell naw. this thing is never done. just made the templets today for the reinforcing of the back half of the frame. hopefully i'll pick up some plate this week and get something done.
