A/C recharge

Anyone know where to get a ac system filled on my truck? Im replacing the condenser and will need it filled and tested.

Get a can at the local auto parts with the fill hose. What part of town are you in?

Trenton Ohio I have that. But since the condenser was missing I think ill have to fully charge it.

If the condensor was missing like not on for a long time you might want to replace the acumulator drier and add oil to it. Good time to replace what ever o rings you can get to easy. I have a set of guages and a air operated vaccum. If you have all the hard stuff done vaccuming the system and charging it is not a big deal.

need to pull a vacuum (evacuate the system) before you charge it or you wont be using it very long.....

If you can't find someone on here to help ya with that then let a shop do it but most shops wont work on a system that they didn't do the work on. Or at least that's how it used to be

Yeah I work at the mill and he understood my time frame and even had a fellow give me a ride home when I dropped it off!! You just don't get that kinda service anymore.

P.s
I saw you and your son a week or two ago in the jeep pulling in auto zone I was in a green long bed dodge. She looks mean in person (your jeep) :beer:
