How to weld up a rearend?

I did mine like that, now I cant get the transmission to work. Park works, but all the other gears don't do anything.

Probably didn't get good penetration. Try adjusting the heat and wire speed.

Installation is easy. Just saw the housing in half, insert welded ring and pinion and weld housing up.

That is the way I did mine front and back. I get so much traction it won't roll off of the driveway.
