The biggest clearance issue I had was where the front fender/door/cab corner meet. I had to seriously clearance the cab corner to keep from chewing up my tires at full stuff and partial turn. Hopefully he won't have to do that too much.

I think he is planning on moving the axle forward a bit to solve this issue. I know that is an issue many have with larger tires on basically all GM trucks.

even with my truck, an 03 chevy, i had some 305's on it and they rubbed the back of the fender well/fire wall/front of cab in the spot you are talking about pretty much.

Yeah, I'm planning on pushing the front axle forward 2-3" to solve the cab rub issue. And gain the better approach angle.

What do you think your wheelbase will end up being? My single cab short bed is 117" stock.

Well plans change. Ended up selling the old truck tonight. Friend of mine just had to have it....said it was to nice of a truck to put in the woods.

Not sure what direction I'm going to go now.

Where are you at here in Piner? I don't do much wheeling anymore, but am able to turn a wrench if you need a hand sometime.
