Update

I'll take a look for the cam specs. It isn't anything huge, but was intended to give more torque and a little more hp. Both heads were cracked but drivable a few years back, so I bought a set of reconditioned heads from Performance Clinic east of Dayton. Basic valve job.
It isn't a trailer queen, but rather a good, fun, street-able truck with many uses including playing on muddy trails. It is the typical black exterior with blue Hawaiian seat covers over red houndstooth buckets. The dash is silver as the exterior once was. There is a red console that could be installed. No carpet - I rhino-lined the floor pans for traction and durability. The bed is just painted, not rhino-lined. The frame was scraped and painted with por50 pu paint.
I loved on it a while ago. Just no time now.

5080 lbs of fun

How can you pass this up?
Someone out there must want 5080 lbs of American Steel that can be driven on the street, up a mountain, through a stream, through the mud, bring home tons (literally) of stuff, bring home 48" wide plywood or drywall, carry 4 people and camping gear, plow snow, pull a trailer, and be the envy of the neighbors. The tires are almost brand new - did I mention there are five?
Come see it or meet me somewhere, then make an offer. I'm not playing with it anymore - you could be.

If stock it would be carb'd, the factory did not produce EFI versions until '87.

Carb

It is a quadrajet carb. Rebuilt a few years ago. Sits on a dual plane aluminum intake. HEI distributor. On sale now for less than a dollar a pound!
Sorry about the slow reply.

1st gear

Hi yellowjacket. I'm not sure what the bullfrog first is, but first is really low and not synched - so maybe. In 4low, first, even with 35s, you can dump the clutch at idle and it just starts crawling forward. You can feel every rotation. It's fun.
This truck could be more than just a trail beater. With a little tlc it could be a daily driver. It would be good to own a gas refinery or be an oil sheik, but that's part of the joy of a 350 I suppose.

Thanks for the feedback on the price. It's still in my garage waiting for you, if you change your mind.

bein an 82 stick shift, it will have the SM465 Tranny. 4 speed, bulldog first gear of like 7.14:1 ratio. Very stout and still widely used tranny.

Whats the top speed on the highway? I'm curious if the 35s make up for the 4;11s and no overdrive.

I'm sure it would run over 100 mph if you wanted it to. My 2500HD with 4.10's and 32-ish" tires would run in 3rd gear (locked out OD when towing real heavy) at 70 mph at maybe 3,000 rpm. With 35's I would think maybe 2,700-2,800 range at 70 mph which isn't that bad.

Fine on the highway

It cruises at highway speed (about 70mph) just fine. I've never tried for a hundred, but maybe!

As far as trades, probably not. I simply don't have time right now for a project vehicle. But, what were you thinking of trading?

I'll work on some pictures. You want me to post them here, or send you an email. I think I put a bunch of photos in a PowerPoint deck a few months ago. That work? What's your email?
The tailgate, inner wheel wells, and a few areas of the fenders have most of the rust. The frame is really pretty good.
The interior is sparse. I took out all the fabric coated cardboard as it was kinda nasty afte 30 years. The bed and floor are solid.
I isn't a new truck, though. I wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver if you drive very far.
Let me know what works best fo you.

I've got a semi-built Honda 250R that I've been wanting to trade/sell for a mild rig or family ATV.

$2300 - what a deal!

Bump bump bump...
I can't believe no one wants this. Clean title, road worthy, super tough and big. easy to work on. What more can I say?
How about $2300 and it's yours?
I just don't have time any more.
