X2 on not a fan ...... OH wait I've never been there ...... I hate MUD but it's better then nothing and as stated above, it is close -- 40 min. drive versus 3+ hour drive to the rocks. This will be a good shake down run before the big trip in may

Okay, what's the scoop on Livingston? Last I heard (which was several years ago) they'd shut everything down off the Hwy 909 enterance. I know last time I was there, rangers were ticketing anything off the county road or without a license. So has it opened back up? Somewhere else there to wheel now?

You can wheel there as long as you have a license plate and proof of insurance. My tubed truggy has been there with plates and I have had no problem. Same rules apply at the gorge! Come on out with us, don't be sceered. ;)

Harlan sucked last year over the Holiday Week-end!!! It was HOT, there was WAY to many people on the trails and i had to park the camper on a hill next to the "Crapper"! With that in mind, i think i will go to Livingston also.

Okay, so I was driving back from Chattanooga today and of course since I had to drive right by Livingston I decided to stop. Now, my daily driver is only a 97 Mountaineer... barely more than a glorified Explorer (a 5 liter and traction sensing AWD). I couldn't do much, but I drove back to the ridge and did play a little around Pink Rock. It felt good.
