Did you find out what the finished weight on the rig is? I beleive I remember a thread from way back about guessing the weight.

There's really nothing at 491 that will allow me to test this rig the way i want to. It is only about 15 minutes from my house tho. I have a place i wheel for free right by 491 too, but still nothing really there to do. creeks and flat trails.
no finished weight yet, haven't borrowed a set of scales yet.

You know there's very little at Haspin to test it either... I was there last weekend with Mckeddie, was pretty dry, Backbone (although far more worn than I remember) was cake. A rear steer Yota went up it backwards (skillfully)... there was a 2.5 rockwell rig that sat higher than I have ever seen a rig sit... had the same shocks as both of us... rolled it later that day

Thanks for the tip brad, guess im just looking for somewhere that i can cruise around for a few hours as well, check temps of things, etc... Not necessarily looking for mountains to clim over, just need to flex it out some, do some climbs, tax the driveline a bit, before heading somewhere 4 hours away.
HummerDude, 491 is a small park in the Crittenden/demossville area. It's really a mx/quad park that they open up to trucks on the weekends. Not much there extreme or even moderate, but if you love mud, etc, it's great I hear. I have ridden mx bikes there, and can't imagine it being fun in a jeep/truck.

491 is a park in NKY toward crittenden. It has decent trails but they are kinda narrow. All trails made with a dozer that has a blade that might be 7.5 ft. wide.

Dont think im going now. Have some new pane parts to try out. Might cut in some trails at my house. Not confident heading out til I have a winch or a rig as big as mine to assist.

That's a relief... 491 may not be up to 'wash's high standards, but I like it a lot...
Hillz n Hollarz did get shut down this spring (more zoning than insurance), maybe that story got turned around... Robert
