What dana 300 do i need????

I want to put a dana 300 in my 99 TJ I know there is some work that needs to be done.....But what year or size 300 do I need to start with? I have seen some that are short and longer ones... Has anyboby every done this and could advise?

Check out Novak adapters. Lots of info. Only made them for a handful of years. I'd go for the short one due to the Jeeps short rear drive shaft. Good luck.
