will 31 10.50 tires fit on a stock 1997 jeep cherokee

Yes but may rub on a full lock to lock turn with the factory rims......mine did but no biggie at all. 30's fit better without any rubbing problems.

i see... i have 31s on my 78 chevy and i hopefully will find some 33s soon and when i do my buddy is looking for some tires for his cherokee so i was gonna sell him mine for around 200 thats y i was asking. I appreciate it.

If you run a 3.75-4.5 back spaced aftermarket rim 31's won't rub or you can run a 1.25" spider trax type wheel spacer with the factory Jeep rims and your good to go.......Or a small 2-3" lift with some fender trimming and some 33's and it's all good

I'd say they're gonna run; maybe not around town with no speed bumps, but anything offroad at all or even a sharp turn is gonna rub... Get a cheap budget lift or DIY & don't worry about it.
