I run a ts performance 6 position on my 99 6 speed. I really like it. I run it on the 50 horse setting, sounds mean as **** turned up to the 140 horse setting, never driven on it though. Throttle respnse is sooooio much better with the chip. I've thought about sending it off and getting it reflashed, but I've honestly been so happy with the original settings that I haven't(plus I don't want to go back to stock, even for a short time) I got mine from extreme diesel performance. They bad the best deal when I got it, like $60 cheaper than everywhere else. Its like $50-$75 to have it reflashed everywhere I've seen.

Bill at PHP can hook you up, or Cale. Tony Wildman has been having some family issues he past year or so, so he is a very hard man to get ahold of. It takes about 6 weeks to get TW tunes. My buddy has swamps tunes and he isnt very impressed, with stage 1s, d66, fuel system, adrenaline hpop and a built e4od my dmax on a 50 horse tune can wax him.

I just have generic TS tunes for now but soon to have Cale retune it. Here, this might help.

also GAUGES GAUGES GAUGES!!! boost, pyro and trans temp (if you have an auto)

these are a MUST so you dont melt pistons or boil trans fluid.

is yours an E99 or L99? there are a few differances between them like injectors, turbo, engine internals etc

Easiest way is the powerstroke badge, if it looks like the v8 Triton badge on the front fender its an e99. If its a black bar on the door its a l99.

What's your build date? Should be on the inside driver door jam on a sticker. After 12/10/98 is l99. You need to know this when ordering performance parts too.

Adding to the differences, e99s have a 15° hpop compaired to the 17° late, different pcm, also, fun fact the e99 cruise light doesn't come on when cruise is activated.

Check your vacuum pump ion the passenger fenderwell and make sure its working, if so, its a vacuum leak somewhere. Im chasing the same thing on mine right now. There's a thread at the top of the 7.3 forum right now on www.powerstrokenation.com about it I just started reading up on last night.

I just run boost and egt on mine bc its a manual. Id run tranny temp with an auto too.

My ESOF hubs would leak vacuum so bad the air would go to defrost.

(Although now, I can't remember if that was all the time, or just when engaged...)

I'm not to sure on the vents, honestly never messed with it but ill see what I can find out. IMO steer clear of glowshift. The price is right but why trust a cheap gauge to a multi-thousand dollar rig? I run a quad pod in mine with air pressure (for air horns), boost, pyro, and eng oil temp with isspro EV series gauges. I got em from http://www.kensperformancesolutions.com/home.html good prices and his customer service is great. When I ordered online he called me about half hour later to conferm the order and make sure I got everything I needed. Shipping was very quick too.

I believe you need to buy the Egt probe seperate but call Kenny, he is real easy to talk to and he makes sure you get everything you need.
