Rain

Holy crap. There was 3 feet of water in places where I have never seen water yesterday. On several occasions, in the neighborhood I was working in, I had water seeping under the doors of my truck while I was trying to make it out. Someone in a minivan tried to make it through and didnt. I got out to help him push and I was in water over my waist. It was unlike anything I have seen around here. Wish I had taken pictures. Kept me very busy today though pumping out basements and replacing sump pumps.

we had an 8" roof drain let loose inside my work right at quitting time during the brunt of the storm. covered ~ 3000sq/ft of floor under 3" or so of water in 30 minutes, and that is a very conservative estimate.

Road out of our plant was covered in about 2' of water as well

All of the rain this year has been killing us and doing dirt work.
