Todds new buggy

Just wanted to throw a couple pics up of the new It's All Good Offroad buggy. Some of you are familiar with the single seat buggy he ran last season. This one uses the drivetrain out of it, supercharged 3.8/904/Stak/Solid HP 60's. Wheelbase is 114", belly 20" and height is 5'2" to the top. Should be a nasty little beast. Hope to have it on the trail within a month. He started this build mid December and sqeezed two other chassis in between.

It is like a chopped top! Good stance but can you see out of it well or will it have no body panels to make visibility better?

Thats awesome! I have plans drawn for my new one and it'll be 5' 3'' to the top with a 20" belly. Gonna be a bunch of low riders out in the next year

Can't see crap with a roof panel on it. Visibility was very low on the list of requirements. I've seen him drive and I don't think he looks anyway.;)

Actually it's not that bad especially if your used to a full bodied rig. Now compared to his Hammers buggy, yeah visibility is not that great.

Here's a few i took the other night as well. We are starting mine down there next week I'd say... will look very similar to this one...

I must say im in love with it. visibility is not that bad as you would expect.... and I can't wait to wheel a rig this small and low.

So, would I be correct in my assumption that is more of a trail buggy than race buggy? I just cant imagine trying to look through those shock hoops all the time. Looks sweet though.

Well, I know Todd will be racing his in all the local stuff, as will I. As far as an RCQ type buggy, or a Hammers contender... who knows. Like i said, i was surprised at the visibility that it has... to make a rig that you don't have to look past the hoops, it ends up sky high.

No doubt he wil be doing some local stuff but he was focusing on building more of a trail buggy/hill climber this time. After running the Hammers and finishing 26th last year he is kinda done with the hardcore racing for awhile. Unless Mike talks him into going back:).
We ran into the current owner of Nasty Girl down in Harlan last spring and he was insired to build something low and long. I think the perportions are just right on 40's. It looks like a 3/4 scale buggy next to most others. Mine is based off of similar dimensions except that I wanted a little more head room to allow for adjusting the seat more forward and upright for my son to drive.
