  • not starting

    I need your help guys. Went out to start my samurai today and she aint starting! Battery tested good. I dont know what else to do?? Any ideas! PLEASE HELP!!My truck broke today to! I'm in school and work.:confused: :confused:

    is it turning over trying to start ? did you check for spark at the plugs? it it getting fuel? More Info?

      its not doing anything at all.no clicking or anything lights dont come on

        did you check fuse's under the hood?
        I had a car do that it was a fuse
        dose the radio or anything inside the car work? thats what hapend to me wouldn't even try to start no lights but the radio and door locks worked

                    it wasn't a fusable link on mine it was a regular fuse do you have a fuse box up under the hood?

                    I'll try and get a pic of one one one of my cars if I get the time today


                    but like stickman said it could be anything

                      so, not turning over at all? Does the radio at least come on when you turn the key to start like usual?
                      sounds like the starter is bad, try hitting it with a hammer while trying to start it. that may get you home or to somewhere better to work on it.

                        Not enough info to help you. (Of course, if you swap enough parts, you'll get to it eventually.) Like others have suggested, use a test light and/or a multimeter to see whether you're getting power/ground to the switch, relay, starter, etc. Let us know whether the radio, horn, interior lights work etc.

                          haha.no radio.horn doesnt work even when i bought it.but the lights dont come on or anything.

                            make sure all your cables are good and tight from your battery. if the battery is good and a cable has become disconnected then all thein things you are describing could and would happen

                              I've had the same type of issue just because a battery cable was slightly loose and then corroded. Had to pull the cables off, clean everything, and put it back together. When I say loose, it's not like you could easily wiggle the cables on the battery but rather you could just barely rotate the clamp.
