sammi wiper motor.

Hey guys, i have an 88' sammi and the wipers arent working i replaced the wiper motor with a reman. one, didnt work. i need some ideas why this aint working?

Are you getting power to the motor? blown fuse maybe? bad switch?

im getting powers to the motor.and good fuses. i dont know how to check the switch though.

lol.ok.it should work though its a remanufactured one rfrom oreily.

your right it should.
check it with a DVOM. each time you turn the switch up there should be less resistance than the position before. maybe your getting power enough to light a test light but not enough to run the motor.

just hook to motor up to the battery and see if it comes on or not

just use extra wire you might have laying around run one to a positive and one to the negative

ok.ill try that tommorow.i tested to make sure i was getting power to the motor again today and i was so i already called oreily and there getting a new motor wednesday.so ill try that and go from there.thanks for all your help i ll keep you posted.

Make sure its mounted with a good ground from the windshield frame to the body, if not it aint goin work.
