amazingly well , didn't even loose the nail , still a little tender down deep but not too painful. I got lucky I guess.

Another note , Jeep is done except for inner fenders and rock lights , now I can't keep my 17 year old out of it. :)

Got it to the woods last night : had a blast and had no issues :

and then ....... :mad: my son was driving it today and I get a phone call " dad I don't know what happened .... but there is a big hole in the motor !! "

yep , that would be the crank !!!!

and whats left of a con rod !!!

Id rather a connecting rod come for a visit then the mother in law though

Figures... soon as u get it on the road this happens.... back to the blazer project now? Lol
I would be intrested in a side shot of your line of vision vs the sloped A pillar.. but u got bigger fish to fry now sounds like.
