  • 5 guys took out Kevin's tire. That trail has changed a-lot since we ran it last fall. It's a legit difficult trail now.

What was the main trail used to access the creek with the smooth rock bottom where you drop into the trail we cut? was that trail 2.

    • The new trail starts on 2 in the ravine and ends on 2 on the ridge. Friday I took Andy over to 5 guys to show it to him and ended up laying the rzr on its side.

      • Here is a few more pics, I usually take alot of pics buy I got a new phone the day before we left and didn't have time to get a case for it so I figured I would break it if I took it on the trails with me so I left it up to my kid & his friend to take pics & video & neither 1 of them had the sense to charge their battery's for the trip. I also have some videos I will post up soon.

In order to stick with the group and moving forward we should think about a bypass next time we are there...
Exactly this. I feel great about the amount of work we got done, but I think it's a long way from calling it finished. If we've got an open invite to improve the trail we started, I'd really like to:

            - Add a bypass exit up to the top of the hill, to meet up with the other side of the Trail #2 loop

            - Clear the next two ravines that Jim Busch was talking about, and

            - Eventually open up more of the smooth-bottom creek, where Hodgie was cutting up that enormous fallen tree that blocked the way. Maybe create a SoftCORE alternative to the branch we were in.

            All in due time!

For the record, I think the final carnage tally was:
            Andy M: Busted trailer ramp
Me: Ripped out the rear brake line
Jeff S: Broke a heim and (I thought) suffered some sort of electrical fire
            Jim S: Stripped a 35 spline hub
Hodgie: Turned each of his quarter-panel guards inside-out
Jim B: Blew his steering pump
Kevin: Broke a main leaf and destroyed his left rear swamper
Jim C: Wrapped his cab corner around a tree

I guess that Travis kid was the only one to escape unscathed!

(And yes, Andy, the trailer ramp counts!)

Yeah, the massive hole in my tire sent me on top. Jim Busch had it till I did that. DOH!!

                            • So was everyone pleased on how the trail turned out? The last hill was a lot harder than I thought it would be.

Like said, I'd really like to add a bypass, and then open up the other two ravines. Could we scope it out and then check with you?

                                Thanks again for having us!
